Debbie was one of the "lunch bunch" at Indian Harbour Montessori, and we always had fun visiting and sharing stories during that relaxing time each day. She had a soft spot for our school's annual "Pasta for Pennies" fundraiser since she had gone through leukemia treatments when younger. The first year I knew her, Debbie graciously donated all of the loose change that she had been collecting (over $40) to my classroom's fund, giving Room 10 the highest total! The next year, her contributions were distributed evenly among all of the elementary classes, which showed her generous spirit. Debbie was a kind, warm-hearted young woman who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. Linda Silverthorn
